Her new fan-funded album Good Mystery was released to a sold-out audience at New York City's legendary theater, Joe's Pub, where it immediately took #1 on the charts at Amie Street.  It has since attracted widespread praise, nabbing a feature spot on The Huffington Post, a Sun Studio session now airing on PBS nationwide, a glowing article in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, and a much-chatted-about performance at SXSW 2010.

NPR Tastemaker Bob Boilen spotlighted her on All Songs Considered, declaring that he was "attracted by the honesty and the humor in a song by Amber Rubarth.  This one had charm and a story that drew me in."  The Boston Globe sums it up, saying "You will leave with a crush on her."
